Simon Davis – Associate Director

As the Lead Associate Director on projects such as the South Kensington Around Station redevelopment, the 30 Old Burlington Street gallery and residential scheme in Mayfair and No.33 Park Row in New York, Simon has a proven track record of delivering award-winning mixed use schemes in complex and historic settings. Simon is a certified Passive House designer and shares a leading role in RSHP’s Sustainability Committee.

He has served as a sustainability expert in the RIBA’s 2025 Awards Jury and advised in a position on the UK Green Building Council’s Net Zero Retrofit forum. Simon is the project Associate Director for the South Kensington Around Station Development, a large mixed-use scheme which will sensitively and contextually reinvigorate the area around South Kensington for residents and visitors alike.

The project has successfully achieved a planning consent and construction planning is underway. Simon has recently had a lead role as project architect for a major regional masterplan, which embodies the practice’s human centric, low energy aims. Also from 2022-2024, Simon led the adaptive reuse of one of the practice’s flagship commercial buildings, first completed in 2000 and now being reworked to ensure the building meets the highest environmental goals within a revitalised context.

From 2017-2022 Simon was project architect for No.33 Park Row, a distinctive residential tower in New York consisting of 30 apartments with commercial space at the base of the building. The tower stands at 25 storeys, giving excellent views across City Hall Park. 

Previously, Simon was project architect on NEO Bankside, a £135 million, award-winning residential scheme adjacent o Tate Modern in London, shortlisted for the Stirling Prize. Leading a large architectural team, Simon has followed the project’s development through to its completion. His extensive experience covers all stages of the building process from concept design to detailing and construction. Before joining the practice, Simon worked for Wilkinson Eyre Architects and at Foster + Partners, London.
