Andrew Tyley - Director

Andrew is a senior architectural leader with extensive international experience in large-scale masterplanning,aviation infrastructure, and complex mixed-use developments. He combines design leadership with commercial insight, supporting clients in shaping strategic, deliverable schemes across global markets.

He is currently leading the new Terminal 3 development at Taoyuan International Airport, a major aviation project that showcases his expertise in delivering technically demanding, high-capacity transport infrastructure. His broader portfolio includes significant airport and transport-led developments,alongside advisory work for developer clients on major commercial projects.

Andrew previously led the 7 million sq. ft Wood Wharf Masterplan in London, securing planning permission for one of the largest undeveloped sites in East London and playing a key role in the continued evolution of Canary Wharf. In New York, he contributed to the post-9/11 regeneration of Lower Manhattan through the East River Waterfront masterplan and led a major mixed-use scheme for Silvercup Studios working under the license of Richard Rogers. His experience also includes acting as Project Architect for the BBVA Headquarters in Mexico City during its design stages, as well as contributing to high-profile international competitions such as Transbay Transit Center (San Francisco), Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge Passenger Clearance Building, and Beijing Airport.

Alongside project delivery, Andrew supports practice leadership through internal IT management, ensuring teams are structured to respond to changing project demands, the advancing AI question and skill requirements.

He is also passionate about education and outreach, supporting architectural programmes in schools. He is currently the Chairman of the Virginia Water Neighbourhood Forum that developed through consultation and implemented into local planning policy the Virginia Water Neighbourhood Plan.
